T V Ganesh: A Story of Resilience, Creativity, and Positive Stubbornness
At Marzi by Primus, every life story brings wisdom, inspiration, and memories worth sharing. The journey of T V Ganesh, also known as Ganesh Tirumani, is one such story filled with resilience, gratitude, and creativity.
Born in Delhi and raised in Mumbai, Ganesh remembers a peaceful childhood where life moved at a slower pace. Days ended early, routines were simple, and people valued balance. Those early experiences shaped the grounded perspective he carries today.
After completing graduation in 1989, Ganesh pursued an MBA in Marketing. Though many doubted whether he would succeed in the field, he believed in proving himself through results. His philosophy remains simple: once your work speaks, criticism fades away.
A Career Built on Learning and Strength
Ganesh’s first professional role came through a placement agency in Mumbai, where he entered the shipping industry. Over the next three decades, he worked across multiple sectors including shipping, travel, and marketing.
He openly describes his career as a mix of struggle, rejection, learning, and occasional humiliation. Yet every setback became a lesson. His approach to solving problems is based on identifying the root cause, simplifying the challenge, and resolving it calmly.
Fourteen years ago, he moved to Pune in search of a more structured and organized lifestyle.
The Memory of His First Salary
One of Ganesh’s most emotional memories is receiving his first salary from a travel agency. Instead of spending it on himself, he handed it to his father as a mark of gratitude and to seek blessings.
His father warmly asked him to keep the money and enjoy a trip with his brother instead. For Ganesh, that moment was never about money, it was about respect, family values, and positive energy.
Creativity Beyond Career
Ganesh’s life has always extended beyond work.
He has a natural love for music and singing, often praised for his deep baritone voice. At the age of 18, he auditioned at Birla Krida Kendra, Girgaon, Chowpatty, Bombay, for a radio program alongside participants from across Asia. Many of the participants have made it to the Bollywood industry. Recently, he wrote and composed his first original song and hopes to share more music soon.
He also writes poetry, sometimes long reflective pieces, sometimes short impactful verses carrying meaningful messages.
Painting remains another passion. Inspired by a talented neighbour artist in his younger days, Ganesh still hopes to reconnect with portrait art one day.
Childhood Memories and Family Traditions
Ganesh fondly recalls outdoor games like lagori, kite flying, hide and seek, and scooter races. These simple joys remain vivid in his memory.
Equally precious are the family traditions passed down through generations.
Morning prayers, bedtime stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and values taught by his mother and grandmother continue to guide him today.
On Marzi by Primus & Giving Back
He discovered Marzi by Primus through a friend and joined because he sees it as a platform for sharing experience, learning from others, and contributing to society. He has already started small, requesting the administrator to organize awareness programs via Zoom to communicate things that matter in daily life.
Advice for the Younger Generation
Ganesh’s message to his younger self, and to everyone is powerful:
Do not feel sorry for yourself. Find the blessing in disguise in every challenge. Have faith in yourself. Live by example.
His journey reminds us that strength is built through struggle, gratitude creates purpose, and it is never too late to keep creating.
